CeTeau nominated for Outstanding Engineering Achievement Project Award

  • From 22 to 26 November 2015 the 33rd Conference of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisation will be hosted in Penang, Malaysia.

This prestigious conference and exhibition will be held around the theme From Light to Bytes: ASEAN Engineering Evolution and Future Challenges.  With sub themes like Integrated Public Transportation In Urban Development and Engineering And Technology For Sustainable Design various engineering challenges of the present and future will be discussed between the participants.

Being a historical and strategic link between Asia, the Middle East and Europe, Penang offers a fascinating location for the event: a modern world-class commerce hub with old charm and well-preserved heritage buildings. Without the many engineers working diligently behind the scene this tremendous growth would not have been possible and can be an example for many other Asian cities.

The ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisation (AFEO) is a non-governmental organisation affiliated to the AEAN Secretariat. Members of AFCO are Engineering Institutions and Unions of ASEAN countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Myanmar. The conference has also attracted participation from engineering organizations from Japan, China and Korea and others.

As part of the event CeTeau Thailand’s Managing Director Mr. Nuttapong has been nominated for the ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Project Award by the Engineering Institute of Thailand.  Being also Advisory Member for the Geotechnical Engineering Subcommittee and Vice President-Industry of International Geosynthetics Society from IGS Thailand Chapter, Mr. Nuttapong has great knowledge about the application of geosynthetic products and has contributed to large projects in Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand.
